]]> The unique V-profile design is used for both the structure and the shelves of the bookcase. As always, the use of high-tech materials characterizes this project. The structural shelves are composed of multi-layered panels, reinforced with aluminum and shaped using a folding process. The addition of a structural composite profile, manufactured through a tensile extrusion process, allows for maximum load-bearing capacity. AVA incorporates LED lights into the shelves. The exterior finish is eucalyptus wood. The back panel is made using a special aluminum sheet characterized by a three-dimensional texture achieved through laser cutting.

]]> Teso is a sculptural object with entirely novel forms, whose lightness and solidity unconditionally attract and captivate. The structure is achieved by laser-engraving a round steel sheet and then stretching it. Extra-light transparent glass panels provide functionality, allowing the complexity of the structural forms to be admired from any viewing angle.

]]> Como en todos los proyectos de Foster+Partners, el componente tecnológico resulta imprescindible para su desarrollo. La idea de partida es una mesita que, a través del movimiento de las superficies, sirva no sólo para apoyar objetos sino también para su desplazamiento, trayendo en primer plano lo que sirve. La estructura, realizada en acero, esconde un mecanismo sofisticado de traslación de los sobres de mármol, muy finos pero estructuralmente muy eficaces.

]]> Ava represents the natural continuation of a trajectory begun with the Elements series metal meeting room table project for UniFor, now offering a dining table made entirely of wood. This table explores the warmth and tactile effect of wood to create a sustainable, modular product suitable for both domestic and commercial use. Inspired by the light forms of airplane wings and bridges, the table is composed of two main segments – a central section and an overhanging end – which can be combined to create a single table of the desired length. The bridge-like structure makes it a minimalist sculptural object with a high-quality finish. The joints between the two sections are accentuated by a shadow effect reminiscent of architectural traditions. The geometry of the object allows the end sections to overhang by up to one meter on either side without compromising stability and rigidity. The table is made entirely of wood, excluding the fasteners, with legs sculpted in a tapered shape, starting with the widest at the top, which provides greater support, and gradually narrowing towards the floor. The table is available in walnut and eucalyptus finishes and the versions for sale are offered in three standard sizes.
