Rodolfo DordoniDiffused light table lamp. Five-layer mouth-blown jacketed glass diffuser with a glossy finish. Internally, the layer of glass in a “straw” tone, pale yellow, makes the light warmer and the color more intense. The “warm white” color version turns an ivory color when on and stays white when off.
During the 90’s Rodolfo Dordoni designed for Foscarini a collection of table, earth and suspension lamps with blown glass diffusers in striking colors and names that evoke natural elements: Fruits, Blossom and Buds. Now Buds is renewed again, interpreting contemporary taste to achieve a refined richness and attention to materials. The protagonist of the project is, as always, the blown glass, with a five-layer craftsmanship, which is immediately noticeable thanks to the wider cut of the diffuser. With the new range of colors – cool brown, cool grey, bamboo green and white, with a straw finish on the inside – Buds assumes a double value: warm when the lamp is on and cool when it is off.
