The back and sides of the sofa are emphasized, parts that often do not present features of particular value. In contrast, in the Cestone sofa, the backrest and sides are made of metal frames covered in braided leather. There are two options for the irregular weave made with leather strips in two widths. The weave can be denser, thus forming a compact surface, or less compact, thus allowing a glimpse of the fabric of the upholstered parts.
The checkerboard effect has a strong aesthetic impact and creates a pleasant contrast with the upholstered parts, which present soft volumes and perfect proportions.
