Alf DaFrè is an Italian furniture maker from Treviso and part of Alf Group. At Oboe Muebles we work with the brand and carry 69 of its pieces, from wardrobes and beds to sideboards and living-room systems. This page introduces the maker, shows what we hold in our catalogue, and explains how to order Alf DaFrè furniture in Spain through our Málaga and Marbella showrooms.

A Treviso maker with more than 70 years of history

The story began in 1951, when a group of young carpenters founded the ALF cooperative (Artigiana Legno Francenigo) in Francenigo, Treviso. In 1957 the Piovesana brothers took ownership and turned it into an industrial company. Alf acquired DaFrè in 1988, and a 2008 rebranding created Alf DaFrè. The company is led by Maria Cristina Piovesana, Piero Piovesana and Flavio Da Frè, who heads research and development. Its entire production cycle runs across three factories in the province of Treviso, and the brand now exports to more than 90 countries with pieces that are 100% Made in Italy.

Made-to-measure pieces at the cost of a standard one

Alf DaFrè builds furniture to order, letting you set the width, height and depth of its modular systems at the cost of a standard piece. Finishes are water-based, and panels use low-VOC and low-formaldehyde materials that meet EPA and CARB standards. The Day Collection living-room system dates from 1998 and the My Space shelving programme from 2009, both developed by the brand's own team. Designers include Enrico Cesana, behind the Oregon 2, Morrison 2 and Ecate beds and the Oslo 2 and California sofas, and Gordon Guillaumier, who signs the Rigadin sideboard.
