The story behind HAY<\/h2>\n

HAY was founded in 2002 by Mette and Rolf Hay, who continue as creative directors; corporate press from Herman Miller also names Troels Holch Povlsen, of the Bestseller group, as a third founder. Its creative base is in Copenhagen, with the registered legal address at Havnen 3, 8700 Horsens, Denmark. Herman Miller acquired a 33% stake in the company in June 2018 and increased its holding in October 2019. HAY works with international designers and reissues furniture classics, producing furniture, lighting and home accessories for domestic and professional spaces. It states that it uses FSC-certified wood (FSC-C148805).<\/p>\n
