“Tubular chairs are often constructed at fixed angles,” Anderssen notes. “We wanted a freer form of expression and explored the idea of bent tubing combined with bent plywood.” Perfect for both residential and commercial spaces, the Pavilion chair is also available without armrests.
Originally designed for the Langelinie Pavilion located on the grounds of the Kastellet in Copenhagen, the Pavilion chair is built for durability. Challenged to create a stackable, easy-to-move chair, Anderssen & Voll explored a soft, curvilinear silhouette that gives the Pavilion chair a simple, poetic appearance. A light and elegant dining chair available in black lacquered oak or lacquered walnut.
