The base is distinguished by a horizontal piping along its entire perimeter, which softens the perception of its remarkable height: 38 cm from the floor, two more than traditional bed frames and slatted beds. The same decorative pattern is found on the headboard, at two-thirds of its height. Mandarine is also available as a slatted bed frame only, without a headboard, which can be further enhanced with wall hangings, artwork, curtains, and wainscoting.
