MHC.2 is a reissue of the prototype bookcase designed in 1959 by Yasuhiko Itoh. Crafted from bentwood—a complex technique for the time—it received an award at the third edition of the Cantù Book Fair in 1959. The result is an elegant and refined piece. Following the initial limited edition of 100 numbered pieces, it is now available in an unnumbered series in bentwood veneered in walnut.
