Our Paysages rug is a handcrafted design, knot by knot, with a pattern that can be interpreted in several ways: a recreation of a countryside landscape under a blue sky, or perhaps a seascape captured at sunrise or sunset. These interpretations only work when the piece is viewed horizontally, as vertically it takes on a composition close to abstract expressionism.

This piece was designed by French designer Sébastien Cordoleani, who enjoys capturing and painting landscapes regularly in his daily life. Paysages is available in two sizes and is made entirely from 100% virgin New Zealand wool.
