The Knotwork rug is a striking design with a surface featuring a rich and intricate array of knots in entirely different styles. Crafted from fine strips of light brown felt, it alternates up to four types of interlacing, which follow and repeat like borders. Its aesthetic, reminiscent of a knitted Greek key pattern, acquires a voluminous texture that is also somewhat reminiscent of macramé.

Created by GAN’s in-house design team, perhaps the most striking aspect of this model is its manufacturing method. It’s not hand-braided knot by knot, but rather handcrafted on a manual loom. This design is available in three sizes.
