In collaboration with Karim Rashid, we’ve created a seat that respects our personal space when we’re in public. A sofa that doubles as a screen. Float is a contemporary daybed designed for multiple uses. This slim, floating seat, with its integrated wall, grants us complete privacy in open environments, allowing us to recline, hang a scarf and coat, or simply wait in the secluded space provided by its substantial backrest.

Float is available in three sizes: two low-back sofas and one high-back sofa. The latter has various configurations; in addition to straight arms, you can select a slanted arm that can be used as a chaise lounge. The high back, designed to resemble a wall, also allows for the addition of two hooks. Karim has also designed a series of prints called Cairo for cushions and headrests.
