Bookworm
Ron AradThe creativity of an artist combined with the technology of a large company brings to life an industrial-scale shelving design that may rightfully become the world’s most daring and revolutionary: Bookworm, the flexible shelving. A careful analysis of extrusion technology has allowed the creation of a shelf with curves that assume any desired shape without compromising strength and functionality.
Unlimited shapes can be formed, limited only by personal creativity. Available in three different lengths, Bookworm is punctuated by a series of bookend mounts. Bookworm combines flexibility and superior durability, achieving a load of around 10 kg for each support. It is recommended to mount the shelf on the wall in a curve to keep materials in tension and increase strength once loaded.
