The Icons category brings together twenty designs that shaped modern furniture and lighting, available through Oboe Muebles in Málaga and Marbella. You will find iconic designer furniture from Vitra, Kartell, Flos and Artemide, with pieces by Mdf Italia and Flou. This page explains what makes a design an icon, how to place these pieces at home, and how to order any catalogue model.
What makes a design an icon
An icon earns its place through a clear idea, honest materials and a shape that still reads well decades on. When choosing, start with the room and the function: a sculptural chair works as a single accent, while a lighting piece sets the mood of a whole space. Consider scale against your existing furniture, finish against your floors and walls, and how the piece will be used each day. Our team can talk you through catalogue references and finishes before you decide.
