Ionna VautrinChouchin is a Japanese word that indicates the traditional and symbolic paper and bamboo lanterns used as luminous signs outside the premises or as an amulet outside the houses. Sober and elegant, Chouchin unites his craftsmanship knowledge with a modern and essential style. The Chouchin family comprises three models with a colored body in matte glass. Next to the first version, we find a new version: Chouchin reverse. The shapes remain the same, but the colors are inverted; the diffuser becomes white while the neck maintains the color of the previous shape. It is not just a new color but a new light and use. Chouchin reverse, thanks to the clear blown glass diffuser, does not limit itself to pointing the light downwards – like the original Chouchin – but also spreads a bright, fluid, and emotional light in the emerging environment.
