This is the Duna rug model from our kilim collection, a piece that has a version for the foot of the bed and another for the hallway. Its hypnotic and intricate design of rhombuses that intertwine to infinity is created from a simple combination of a series of straight and diagonal lines. A schematic geometric drawing pattern devised by the Odosdesign studio. The Kilim is an artisan method of making rugs in which only threads are used, firmly interweaving the weft on a manual loom without knotting. Due to this process, the result is a light fabric with a texture without hair, similar to upholstery. In addition, it is a technique that offers great flexibility in design, a peculiarity that at GAN we explore in depth to conceive rugs with high-impact drawings and details.
