FOLIO
Alessandro Vecchiato Carlo UrbinatiDesigned by the founders of Foscarini during the first years of the company’s life, Folio is a tribute to the simplicity of the small gestures that defined a lighting project in terms of decoration. It is a lamp that resembles a sheet of paper in tension, in which two of its angles bend slightly towards the wall or ceiling, with a barely hinted movement, but enough to give volume to the two-dimensional shape of a sheet. Two small screws join the blown glass diffuser to the metal support, two points required in a delicate decorative element. Folio’s light source is housed inside the metal support and spreads, through its satin shade, a warm and intense light.
