The Lima rug is a unique proposal from our kilim collection, with a design based on an eclectic compendium of different elements and geometric shapes. Rhombuses, hexagons, arcs, and stripes of solid colors of different widths that, taken together, were surprisingly light. As a finish, two of its sides are finished with tassels. The Kilim is an artisan method of making rugs in which only threads are used, firmly interweaving the weft on a manual loom without knotting. Due to this process, the result is a light fabric with a texture without hair, similar to upholstery. In addition, it is a technique that offers excellent flexibility in the design, a peculiarity that at GAN we explore in depth to conceive rugs with high-impact drawings and details.
