MILANA
Jaume RamírezMove the point of light; this is the idea behind the new design by Jaume Ramírez. Milana consists of a system of modular suspension lamps combined and can be moved vertically and horizontally.
Paradoxically, this new design begins with the deconstruction of the archetype of a lamp: synthesizing it to the maximum, it is left with only a suspended cylindrical body with a built-in LED.
Different conical lampshades in pearl white, black, beige, gray, and red can be added to this cylinder in various sizes. But the most ingenious thing is that each of these lamps can have a simple counterweight that allows them to be moved when hanging between two points—tubular structure and lampshade in lacquered aluminum with translucent polycarbonate diffuser. A rope with a balance will enable the lamp to move throughout the space.
