Christophe MathieuThe Piola collection tries precisely to imitate this fluidity of infinite movement, which floats around the light, in search of a balance between the diffusion of light and the creation of shadows.
The spiral shape of the screen breaks the monotony of the object, which changes depending on the point of view from which you look. The central tube left us with symmetry and solidity, contrasting with the volatile and variable screen. Available in 4 colors, both the structure and the lampshade are always offered in the same color, and thus the lamp is perceived as a single object. In this way, by contrast, light acquires greater prominence.
