SOFFIO
Ludovica Serafini Roberto PalombaDiffused light table lamp. Manually mouth-blown glass diffuser with a gradient color from transparent to white. The diffuser features three distinct color zones: a completely white upper section, a central part that fades from white to transparent, and the last zone at the bottom, completely transparent.
The strength and discretion of a great actor without a leading man. Soffio is a lamp of considerable size but with a slightly noisy aesthetic. Its warm and intense light illuminates a low table, a console, and an arch and helps define an environment in a calm and refined way. The gradient color effect that characterizes the diffuser is a masterpiece of craftsmanship; each piece is unique, and the sensitivity of the master glassmaker captures the exact combination of white and transparent each time. White glass is intensely charged with light, producing low-area lighting and defining a haven of attention and atmosphere. The transparent glass acts as a pedestal for the upper part; the impression is that the upper part lifts off the ground and that the cone rises towards the sky, fluctuating. Although the lamp has a significant size, the final effect is one of unexpected lightness. Craftsmanship and technology: Soffio's glass hides the light source inside. Located in the upper part, it is adjusted through the disk that closes the top of the cone with a fast and intuitive touch system. Soffio turns on and off with a breath or a simple finger touch.
