TRESS STILO
Marc SadlerFloor lamp with diffused and indirect light. The fiberglass-based diffuser in various materials is manufactured by molding the tape on a mold with automatic pitch/design control and painted with epoxy powders. An upper parabola in brushed steel with a light reflection function inside the diffuser. Base in metal painted with epoxy powders combined with the color of the diffuser. The transparent cable has a gradual light intensity regulator.
The seduction of a feminine braid is the original inspiration for the Tress family of lamps. A design idea transformed into reality by Foscarini, through the development of a completely original technological process, in which a fiberglass and resin ribbon intertwined with ordered chance becomes the structure and decoration of the lamp. Tress changes personality depending on the color: the white version is light and discreet, the black version is strong and decisive, the volcanic and totemic version is red, in which the contrast between inside and outside is even more evident. Long, thin, and slender, Tress Stilo represents a strong and persuasive graphic touch, like an exclamation point or a tribal object. Its shape may recall artisan manufacture, in contrast to the design and technological innovation from which it comes. The slender line of Tress Stilo is ideal for customizing the angle of a room, the space between a sofa and an armchair and any other situation where a reduced volume is required, with a strong and unmistakable stage presence.
