It is characterized by hand-painted white drawer fronts with applied handles in different woods (elm, Italian walnut, mahogany, and rosewood). Designed in various versions between 1952 and 1955, this reissue is based on the original drawings held in the Gio Ponti Archives and is under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati for the Gio Ponti Collection. The elm wood frame is supported by satin-finished brass feet.
