The Korpus shelf is part of a series of colorful wall-mounted shelves created for HAY by Norwegian product designer Andreas Bergsaker. Based on the desire to create a durable and versatile shelving unit from recyclable material, the Korpus shelf is made of aluminum sheet, known for its lightness, strength, and ability to be reused countless times. The aluminum undergoes an industrial stamping and punching process to form the distinctively curved column and top. Keyhole slots on the back facilitate assembly, while hidden hooks in the column offer additional hanging options. Available in a wide range of sizes and colors, these versatile shelves can be used in various rooms of the home, such as a coat rack in the hallway, kitchen utensil storage, towel rack in the bathroom, or decorative display in the living room.
