This is the Alexandra rug from our Glaoui collection, a design crafted using a complex Moroccan artisanal system that combines three techniques, from which the collection takes its name. As a result, the piece features both textures and varying volumes throughout its colorful design, created using knotted pile, flat weave, and embroidery.

The Glaoui collection comprises a series of rugs and poufs that eclectically and harmoniously blend a diverse range of patterns and textures. A complex traditional Moroccan technique has been elevated to a new aesthetic dimension by designer Sandra Figuerola, who drew inspiration from African and Indian colors, graphics, and topography for her motifs.
