Floor lamp with diffused light. The diffuser is composed of acid-etched, blown opal glass and a die-cast aluminum ferrule with a threaded fitting and chrome-plated finish. The base is made of thick steel, the stem of a steel tube, and the diffuser support of a die-cast aluminum alloy, all painted in gray or black. The electronic dimmer on the cable allows for gradual adjustment of the light intensity. Available in various versions and sizes.

The Glo-Ball was designed by Jasper Morrison for Flos in 1998. The Glo-Ball lighting series also includes the Glo-Ball Basic table lamp, the Glo-Ball Basic Zero table lamp, the Glo-Ball pendant lamp, and the Glo-Ball Zero ceiling/wall light.
