Guscioalto is a bergère armchair characterized by its high, exceptionally comfortable, and bespoke backrest. The structure consists of a polyurethane foam shell, while the seat cushion is filled with down and features a non-deformable material insert. The Guscioalto Soft version offers enhanced backrest padding with an additional layer of Dacron and memory foam for superior comfort. The Guscioalto Light version features unique molded padding attached to the backrest with Velcro, providing exceptionally comfortable support. Guscioalto armchairs have a simple yet lightweight base—either fixed or swivel—with metal legs. These legs are crafted with an exclusive design and are available in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome, and champagne finishes. A version with a wooden base, featuring solid American walnut and ash legs in various varnish shades, is also available.
