The Illum teak dining table maintains the slender proportions of the aluminum version but is crafted from high-quality teak sourced from carefully managed plantations in East Java. The tabletop connects to the legs with a single, gentle curve. The corners are made from a single piece of solid wood, hand-carved and sanded to showcase the natural beauty of the teak. The Illum table has rounded edges for a soft, pleasant look and feel. The tabletop is also available in teak or ceramic.

The joints and contours have been subtly rounded to enhance its tactile appeal and give this new Illum a warm and inviting feel. The teak Illum is available in a standard width of 98 cm and a narrower 73 cm version. The narrower version is ideal for casual dining or for patios and balconies.
