Living Box
Brand:
Living Box, designed by Vincent van Duysen, takes a typically architectural project such as a building, a stage for concerts and conferences or a monumental space, and reduces it to a smaller scale, transforming it into a domestic object with peculiar characteristics and characterized by new forms of use.
Living Box is a large, low, rectangular storage unit (230, 280, 330, 380 cm) without doors, whose interior and exterior are contrasted through the use of different materials. The exterior is characterized by a wide surface where marble and wood are used to decorate the tabletop, arranged in distinctive geometric patterns. The unit is enclosed within a frame, in iridescent and pewter colors, which appears very thin when viewed from above, but which, when viewed from the front, transforms into a substantial profile that defines the internal module.
The LED light illuminates it in a soft and delicate way. The interior space is completely free of sharp edges thanks to special curved corner covers. The resulting space is therefore available to accommodate any type of object that one wishes to place and display.
