Table lamp with direct and diffused light. Mouth-blown crystal glass with a liquid silver nitrate mirror that, when lit, reveals the light source. Tripod base in die-cast aluminum, hand-finished and polished in the aluminum version, and liquid-painted in the black chrome or champagne versions; scratch-resistant silicone feet. Includes a dimmer for gradual adjustment.
It was 1990 when designer Rodolfo Dordoni proposed to Foscarini a new, sophisticated, elegant, and creative interpretation of the classic lampshade. From this collaboration, Lumiere was born, still a bestseller in the collection and an icon in the world of contemporary design. The first Lumiere subsequently inspired the XXL and XXS versions, a new interpretation of the original design, with new proportions and a bolder style. The duality between the blown-glass diffuser and the metal base is combined with the new color palette of the table version, but with a new harmony, creating a new presence in the room: significant yet discreet, elegant yet understated, perfectly suited to daytime environments.
