Foscarini and Marc Sadler’s passion for researching new technologies has given rise to iconic projects like Twiggy, an arched lamp post made of composite material on an enamelled fiberglass base. The reading and table versions stand out for their successful synthesis of simple form and distinctive personality: they share the same diffuser and post base, but the stem extends vertically in two different heights. The simple, flat, lightweight, and unobtrusive disc of the base can be placed anywhere. The diffuser ensures direct illumination in the lower area, and thanks to the transparency of the upper protective disc, it diffuses a welcoming ambient light while simultaneously protecting against glare.
