  • Bitta is an outdoor swing sofa from Kettal's Coma collection. It features a combination of aluminum frames, seats woven with polyester rope and comfortable cushions, teak wood, and stone tabletops—all perfectly weather-resistant materials. "The designer's intention was to create a dense yet breathable weave reminiscent of the rope used to moor boats to their moorings (hence the name Bitta, which means 'mooring' in Italian)—giving the pieces a sense of lightness while making them look like cozy nests in natural tones, perfect for relaxing."
  • As its name suggests, the ARPA collection is inspired by the harp, one of the most beautiful and captivating musical instruments. Unlike the meticulous work involved in crafting a harp, the design of this collection employed a rigorous reduction approach, resolving each piece with the fewest possible elements. The ARPA collection combines the stability of its orthogonal outer form with the softness and comfort of its inner cushion cover. Delicate cords add elegance and refinement to each piece, creating a unique sense of lightness, as if the entire cushion's mass were suspended from the frame. Designed to be timeless, ARPA aims to become an icon, not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its functionality and comfort.

  • The Augusto sofa, by Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen, is an exploration of contrasts: where the past meets the present and technical innovation joins the expert craftsmanship of Molteni&C. The key to Augusto's timeless aesthetic is the balance between the soft, upholstered seats and the sophistication of its modern metal frame, creating a harmonious and unique design that blends seamlessly into a multitude of environments. To enhance Augusto's unique silhouette, an elegant piping runs along the cushions, defining their shape.
When designing the Augusto sofa, Van Duysen started from the idea of total comfort. He carefully examined the way the body sinks into its bulky seat, reclines on the padded backrest, or simply rests on its elegant square armrests. Only once these factors were determined did he begin to form the silhouette, which incorporates a metal base that runs around the perimeter of the sofa, emphasizing its volume and making it look super light.
