With a design that seems random and spontaneous, our Japan rug is a model that is made knot manually by knot with 100% virgin wool. This technique allows precisely to obtain that sensation of casual and fortuitous design that this piece transmits, reminiscent of when nature sprouts wild and heterogeneous. Its textured buds contain multiple analogies: from a shower of petals to fields of cherry trees in bloom or a colony of sea corals. Its surface, of an attractive coral color, presents some subtle variations of hue. This is because it is made with threads dyed with the tie-dye technique, a system in which knots are used when dyeing a textile, and applied to the woolen threads used in its making. This dyeing method means the strands can present various shades, colors, or gradients. Japan is a model designed by GAN's internal team, available in two sizes.
