A gem to discover!
DB is the acronym for “diamond in the rough,” a name that Elena and Esther Castaño have joked with for years every time they settled into an old prototype designed by their father. Every summer, the vast and comfortable armchair wrapped them in afternoons of reading or siesta, and they always said: “we don’t understand why it didn’t come out on the market! It would fit perfectly into the Sancal catalog with a few small tweaks. First, however, it is a rough diamond that needs to be polished….”
No sooner said than done. Finally, after a slight restyling and a material update, DB is ready for anyone to enjoy.
Its diagonals and even faceted angles, applied to the legs, remind us of the coveted stone. But, on the other hand, his appearance is resounding, so the surname “gross” comes to mind. Now it’s up to you to decide if you have to polish it.

Textile and leather cover: completely removable.
Internal structure: wooden structure prepared with 80 mm elastic straps on the seat and 60 mm on the backrest, covered with 27 kg CM foam.
Seat cushion: 35AT density foam covered with cotton cover
filled with FiberDream.
Backrest, lumbar, and arm pillow: cotton cover filled with FiberDream.
Legs: solid ash wood. Ash stain finishes are available.
