This is Pack rug, an original piece with a surface that looks like tiles. Employing a single figure, as if it were a tile, its design is asymmetric and occasionally arises from the alternation not only of three colors but also from the vertical or horizontal orientation of this form. The result is a striking and shocking textile mosaic, as it is made with 100% virgin wool. Another of its peculiarities is that the Pack rug does not present clear and delimited limits to use, but its edges are irregular, following the silhouette of the figure that represents a tile. It is a design by Jose A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, made with the innovative manual hand-tufted technique. It is available in two sizes.
