TONELLA
Note Design StudioA tone has inspired the Swedish study Note to recall our old María Antoñeta armchair. The base is available in two metallic finishes: bronze and mother-of-pearl. Its fine rods emulate the staves of a barrel. The seat and backrest are injected in flexible molded polyurethane foam. The interior part is smooth and can be upholstered in fabric or leather. The padding on the outside draws vertical lines to simulate that the staves climb the structure.
Sancal began its business journey manufacturing classic French-style armchairs. Four decades later, they should have paid tribute to our beginnings from a contemporary point of view. Framed in the “toilet chair” typology, the small Tonella is almost a pocket seat, so it has a place in any corner. It is an ideal companion for large home sofas but can also be used in public spaces thanks to its solidity.
