Floor lamp with direct and indirect light. Diffuser and stem in different materials based on fiberglass painted with liquid. Upper diffuser disc in translucent polycarbonate, lower diffuser disc in polymethylmethacrylate with internal polyprismatic surface. Circular base in metal painted with epoxy powders, the transparent cable has a dimmer that acts as both a gradual light intensity regulator and an on/off switch.

Foscarini and Marc Sadler's passion for research into new technologies has given rise to very iconic projects, such as Twiggy, an arch-shaped post in composite material on an enameled fiberglass base. The reading and table versions stand out successfully for their synthesis between the simplicity of the form and the marked personality: they have the same diffuser and the same base of the pole, but the pole develops vertically at two different heights. The simple, flat, lightweight, non-bulky base disc can be placed anywhere. The diffuser guarantees direct lighting in the lower area and, thanks to the transparency of the upper protection disc, spreads a welcoming ambient light while protecting against glare.
