The fabric you choose will not only make a big difference in the look of your sofa bed, it will also affect the durability and longevity. How much use will your sofa bed get? Will you be able to clean it often? If you’re looking for upholstery that resists stains, look for something with a high wool content or with some additional cleaning treatment. Wool is a highly versatile material that is resistant to dirt and water (it’s also renewable and biodegradable!) Wool fibers are resistant to liquids, so if something is spilled, water will collect on the surface instead of being absorbed right away and you can just brush it off.
