A Valencian family maker since 1955
Andreu World began in 1955, when Francisco Andreu Martí, aged 17, took over the family cabinetmaking workshop in Alaquàs, Valencia, then trading as Curvados Andreu. The Andreu World name was created in 1980. Today the family-run company manufactures in its own centres in the province of Valencia: Andreu Est in Alaquàs for seating and Andreu Tops in Chiva for tables, with a further plant in Riba-roja de Túria. All its solid wood comes from sustainably managed forests and carries FSC Chain of Custody certification, and the company holds Zero Waste certification awarded by SGS.
Certified wood, recycled materials and signature design
Since 2020 Andreu World has offered a 10-year guarantee on its indoor products, extended from the 5-year cover introduced in 2007. It develops its own materials, including Pure ECO, a 100% recycled and recyclable thermopolymer used across its collections since 2024, and Circular ONE, a fabric spun from recycled PET bottles, including PET recovered from the sea, which upholsters the Flex chair. Its catalogue brings together international designers: Lievore Altherr Molina (Alya, Brandy, Trenza, Carola), Patricia Urquiola (Nuez, Nub, Õru) and Piergiorgio Cazzaniga (Flex, Couvé, Raglan, Sail). Urquiola's Õru chair won Interior Design magazine's Best of Year award in 2022.
