Doimo Cucine began in 1994 as an extension of a family tradition in furniture. The company works from a 20,000-square-metre site in Nervesa della Battaglia, near Treviso, employs 80 people and makes every kitchen in-house. It reaches 35 countries through more than 350 points of sale. Artistic direction is led by Ferruccio Laviani, who designed the Impronta collection of seven kitchens. This is a firm that concentrates on kitchens alone, which shows in the range of construction and finishes it offers.
The All-arounD system and recycled-wood cabinets
The brand's own All-arounD system offers doors in three thicknesses: 12, 20 and 23 mm. The D23 door, at 23 mm, gives the widest choice of opening, with a handle, push-pull, gola and flat gola. The Aspen variant has a 100% recyclable aluminium structure visible inside the door, in 20 or 23 mm. Cabinets are built from Pannello Ecologico LEB, made entirely from post-consumer wood without felling trees. Since 2008 the kitchens have met the F**** emissions standard, and a 5,300-square-metre photovoltaic installation cuts 376,000 kg of CO2 a year.
