Treku is a family-owned Basque manufacturer that has made furniture since 1947. At Oboe you can source its contemporary pieces through our showrooms in Málaga and Marbella, and order any model from the catalogue below. This page explains the brand, the Treku ranges we carry, and how to buy, request a quote or arrange delivery and installation.
A Basque maker of natural wood furniture since 1947
Treku began in 1947 when Jesús Aldabaldetreku, a carpenter in Zarautz (Gipuzkoa), opened a workshop that first made bathroom furniture. The company is still run by the family, now the third generation, the founder's grandsons Xabier and Gorka Aldabaldetreku. It designs, manufactures and exports contemporary furniture to more than 50 countries from its factory in the Olaa district of Zarautz. Treku works with veneer from FSC-certified forests, selected and handled by hand, supported by a close network of collaborating makers. Its collections are signed by designers including Ibon Arrizabalaga, Ángel Martí, Enrique Delamo, Manel Molina and Silvia Ceñal.
