Alfarè coffee table
Brand: Zanotta
The Alfarè is a coffee table built entirely in concrete, both the base and the top. Italian maker Zanotta offers it painted in four house colours: hemp, algae, amaranth and espresso, a palette ready to settle into quiet, pared-back interiors or into rooms with a stronger colour story.
The defining gesture sits on top. The upper surface is finished with a three-dimensional textured relief that adds volume and tactility, pulling concrete away from its usual cool register. What you end up with is a low, solid block with real sculptural presence, ready to work as an occasional table in the living room.
A sculptural note beside the sofa
It suits contemporary living rooms, loft spaces and projects where honest materials meet an industrial detail. It pairs well with plain upholstered sofas, natural-fibre rugs and pieces in pale wood or matt metal. Two units in different colours group beautifully in front of a long sofa.
