Binata chair

The Binata chair is built on a solid wood frame available in oak, in mocha varnished ash or in open-pore lacquered ash finished in amaranth and black. Both the seat and the backrest are made of ash-veneered plywood and come in the same colours as the frame, so the piece keeps a consistent tone from top to bottom.
A second version swaps the plain plywood seat for a padded one, filled with polyurethane foam for a softer feel. The outer upholstery can be chosen in fabric or in leather, with a non-removable cover.

It sits well in contemporary dining rooms, in studies and in home offices that mix natural materials with clean, graphic lines. The oak finish reads quiet and Nordic, while the amaranth and black lacquers suit interiors with a bolder character. It pairs easily with wooden tables, metal-based desks and plain-weave rugs.
