Bumper sofa
Brand: Zanotta
Zanotta’s Bumper sofa comes as a monobloc piece or as a modular arrangement, with a matching pouf and cushion to round out the room. The frame is built from wood and the seat suspension sits on elastic strips.
Seat, back and base are upholstered in graduated polyurethane paired with Du Pont Dacron, so each area is tuned to its own role within the sofa. The main cushion is filled with polyester flakes that are both regenerated and regenerable, and the textile cover is removable for easy care.
A sofa that moulds to the room
Bumper settles into open living rooms, where the modular version maps out quiet corners, and feels at home in more compact interiors in the monobloc version. Its soft volumes sit well with contemporary schemes and warmer, timber-led rooms, next to low wooden tables, natural rugs and gentle lighting.
