The Lialta chair by Zanotta is built around an aluminium alloy frame, offered in three finishes: polished, painted in talc or graphite, and painted in black. Seat and backrest are upholstered in polyurethane, which gives the piece a clean, restrained outline.
Covers come in two options: a removable version in fabric or leather, or a non-removable version in cowhide. On request, Zanotta can supply an additional loose cover that slips on without fixings, made in 100% white cotton and available either short, covering seat and backrest, or long, extending over the legs as well.
A seat with several moods
Lialta sits well in contemporary dining rooms, understated meeting spaces or reading corners in modern homes. The polished aluminium works alongside marble or glass tables, while the talc, graphite and black finishes pair naturally with warm woods and neutral textiles. The cotton loose cover offers a softer, more domestic register when the setting calls for it.
