Oliva armchair
Brand: Zanotta
The Oliva armchair rests on legs of solid maple lacquered in black, which draw a clean line against the upholstery and give the piece a firm base without weighing down its profile. Inside, a steel frame holds the shape and takes the strain of everyday use.
The padding pairs self-extinguishing polyurethane foam with heat-bound polyester fibre, giving body to the seat and backrest while keeping the feel soft. The cover, offered in fabric or in leather, lifts off completely, which makes refreshing the look over the years a straightforward job.
A reading corner with a voice of its own
Oliva settles in nicely in contemporary living rooms and in studies after a piece with presence and warmth. It sits well next to clean-lined sofas, low side tables in wood or metal and long-arm floor lamps, and the choice of textile lets you lift a neutral setting or temper a bolder one.
