Pianoalto sofa

Pianoalto is Zanotta’s family of sofas, offered as a one-piece model, in modular layouts and with a matching pouf. The frame is built in wood and rests on graphite-painted steel legs, while the inner suspension uses elastic webbing to give the seat its spring.
The seat is upholstered in graded polyurethane and Dacron Du Pont, with a quilted goose-down insert. The backrest and armrests follow the same build and add polyester fibre flakes for extra body. The back cushions can be specified in polyurethane with Dacron Du Pont or in pure goose down, and include a tall version with a bolster roll. The outer cover is removable and comes in fabric or leather.
A sofa for long afternoons
Pianoalto suits generous sitting rooms where the aim is a solid silhouette and a sense of welcome. Its contemporary language sits well with clean-lined furniture, warm wood tones and low tables in natural materials. The modular layout lends itself to reading corners or wrap-around arrangements for family rooms, and the one-piece version works in rooms of measured proportions.
