Taschino side table
Brand: Zanotta
Taschino is a Zanotta side table that adds a tidy storage compartment to the usual bedside role, equally at home next to the bed or beside a low sofa. The frame and top are made in painted steel, available in three finishes: talc, black and graphite.
The top surface and the interior of the compartment are lined in cowhide pigmentato 90 leather, bringing a warm, tactile contrast to the painted steel. Access to the storage is handled by a dropleaf opening: a flap that tilts downwards and keeps the front free of handles or visible drawer fronts.
A discreet companion for lounge or bedroom
Taschino sits comfortably next to a bed as a nightstand or by a low sofa as a service table for a lamp, a book or a glass of water. The talc version suits rooms with a pale palette, oak, linen or bouclé; the black and graphite options gain presence against white walls, warm timber or microcement floors. The pairing of painted steel and leather places it between an industrial and a warmer language, at ease in contemporary interiors.
