Zanotta’s William+ comes in both a monobloc and a modular version, built around a steel frame and sitting on aluminium alloy feet. The feet can be specified polished, with natural or black nickel-satin finish, or painted black, so the piece slots into very different interiors.
Suspension is handled by elastic strips. The seat is upholstered with graduated polyurethane foam and heat-bound polyester fibre, while the back and armrests use self-extinguishing polyurethane foam together with the same heat-bound fibre. Seat and back cushions pair recycled and recyclable polyester fibre balls with a graduated polyurethane insert. The fabric or leather cover is removable.
A piece that sets the tone of a lounge
Its volume and clean profile suit generous lounges and contemporary sitting rooms. The modular version lends itself to L-shaped or island layouts around a rug, while the monobloc works as the main seat facing a fireplace or a half-height wall. It pairs well with low tables in marble or solid wood, soft floor lamps and textiles in earth tones or warm greys.
