Its continuous arms and backrest form an organic and inviting piece, finished with visible stitching. Removable upholstery on seat cushions, back cushions, and side cushions. Wooden frame covered with foam and fiber. Suspension system with fiberglass-reinforced plastic slats. Seat cushions made of polyurethane foam with varying densities and a fiber-padded surface. The Shelby collection is conceived as a linear product that visibly lifts off the ground. Its entire volume is supported solely by slender legs angled at both ends, and its seemingly thin metal frame allows for the creation of sofas over three meters long. The Shelby Class version allows the same product to be placed in more contemporary settings, maintaining the same technical design but adding the detail of a lower valance, which lends a different kind of richness to the piece.
