"The designer's intention was to create a dense yet breathable weave reminiscent of the rope used to moor boats to their moorings (hence the name Bitta, which means 'mooring' in Italian)—giving the pieces a sense of lightness while making them look like cozy nests in natural tones, perfect for relaxing."

The Boma armchair, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Kettal, arises from the typical need to achieve high performance in outdoor environments without sacrificing the ever-increasing demand for comfort that new outdoor products must meet.
